Cordless tools on a boat are a necessity. We recommend good quality tools such as DeWalt. We've made the mistake and bought less expensive tools and have been sorry. Definitely a "false economy" situation as you get what you pay for. We have been very happy with the performance, and life of our DeWalts.

Suggestion: Buy DeWalt batteries as we were very disappointed in a generic brand and we only saved $5-10 and they never held a charge. We have bought extra DeWalt batteries that work great, just like expected.

The vacuum cleaner is great because you can run it off your inverter, or use the DeWalt batteries. Really sucks! I've seen them used on megayachts... we are a trend setter!
